Welcome to Walt Disney's Upper Elementary Math MENU Page!
This is a shared website for grades 4-6. On this page, you will find five main areas:
1. Practice Pages - this section features worksheets that students can do for additional practice AT HOME to either review skills they struggle on or challenge themselves with new skills. Each of the pages in this section features practice problems on essential skills at each level AND answer keys so parents can work at home with their child or the student can check and review their own work.
2. MAP - "My Activity Page" is a time during our daily Math MENU when students can focus on the areas they need to work on most. Students will use this section of the website during math class to complete the activity pages on their iPads. Students also have the option of printing off these activities at home and then turning them in to the teacher. This section does NOT include an answer key.
3. Games - this section may be used at school during our daily Math MENU time OR at home. It features a variety of online games and activities that the students can play to practice essential skills. Some games that require Flash Player will NOT work on your child's iPad, so this section is divided into games for the computer (played at home) and games for the iPad (for school or for home).
4. IXL - this is a fabulous website that the students may utilize at school during our daily Math MENU or at home. If your child's teacher has a subscription, the information for that is included here. If they do not, information for the FREE features the website offers is also available in this section.
5. Common Core Standards - this page features the Common Core Standards studied at each grade level. You may choose to review skills from the previous year to see what your child is expected to be secure on, skills from the current year to see what they are learning, and skills for the next year to see what they are working toward.
We hope this website will be an excellent resource for you and your child! We look forward to watching them grow!
